Jane Jones

Jane Jones (BEng Hons, MISM) aka FabulousEarthgirl

 

Jane studied at Leeds College of Music and graduated in Electronics and Music Technology. She has almost 40 years of music teaching experience and has performed widely, including the Royal Albert Hall (as part of the Schools Proms)! She works in the community music sector using music as a tool for wellness and personal development, particularly in adult social care. Jane has a home studio, a plethora of instruments and enjoys creating new sounds electronically using them all, and is currently writing an education course for tongue drums. She is also a session musician and performer

Danielle Saxon Reeves

Danielle Saxon Reeves (BMus Hons, FISM) aka Pluckybird

 

Danielle is a graduate of Birmingham Conservatoire and counts Craig Ogden and Mark Ashford amongst her teachers. She has 40 years of playing experience and has been teaching for more than half of that time, whilst also directing two community ensembles-Midlands Fretted Orchestra and Friendly Folk for the Plucking Terrified, running regular “Pluckybird Playdays”, as well as Summer school tutoring for various organisations. She particularly enjoys sharing her love of Fretted Instruments and 19th century music, giving regular demonstration talks to various groups to that end. She has performed at concerts and festivals across the UK in a variety of venues both as a soloist and with various classical and folk music ensembles
